Prodea Investments Headquarters is a complete renovation of a listed building into the most occupant-friendly Headquarters built in Greece so far. For a total area of 3050sq.m. distributed in four floors and a basement, this building had the challenge to turn an old-fashioned façade into a high efficient envelope, while maintaining its exterior aesthetics. The building has used low VOC emissions material required by both LEED and WELL, along with rainwater management techniques. As the interior aesthetics commanded the use of wood, most of it was FSC certified -i.e. legally produced wood from renewable resources. The building includes a gym with showers, a quiet room for the comfort of its occupants, and incorporates art in all of the lobbies of the building. All of the above among other actions have brought the building to a LEED v4 Gold and a WELL v2 Platinum level. It should be noted that Prodea Investments HQ, is the first building in Greece to earn WELL Platinum certification and achieve two certifications, which showcases the mentality of the owner/users of the building and the commitment to sustainability of the teams involved.
